Uncostumed Love
Cosplay, short for “costume play”, is already an internationally well known term. It has transformed its purpose from a mere role play using various costumes to an activity aimed purely on creating a new personality for the person to be in this quarter of century.
On the other hand, the social milieu is becoming increasingly complicated, as in the case of post-modern society. Today, most people find it difficult not only to engage in some kind of pure activity, but also to identify their own personality.
This artwork, which I named “Uncostumed Love”, is an experiment to determine which one is purer: is it the costumed couples or the people around them emerging from the crowd?
It is my hope that you will be able to identify various shapes of love as well as the flakes dropping off our society’s complexity in this work.
